The Charlotte & Co. AW11 collection is launching in 2 days!  The preview has already been online for a few weeks and the fashionistas have been getting their orders in pronto.  I’m not surprised to see that the biggest number of pre-orders has been for our fabulous new winter coats.

I’m not techy and I never really got into Facebook.  But I just LOVE twitter.

Marie Claire Magazine has asked me to be one of their mentors for the 2011 Inspire & Mentor campaign which they are running in association with The Princes Trust.

Yes, kids are off school, I have been baking birthday cakes until midnight, we are in the final, painful stages of a 2 year building project, the AW catalogue needs putting to bed and there are all the joys of moving house to look forward to next month. WHAT was I thinking when I decided that it would be a good idea for all of these things to happen simultaneously?

I am fascinated by how hard it is for people who have set out in a particular direction to change course.  It takes a much greater effort of will to make changes to plans you have already laid than it did to come up with those same plans in the first place.

So you might think that deciding to have kids and run my own business makes me certifiable. But honestly there is method in this double madness.
